A case of murder of three people of the same family has come to light in Mauaima police station area of Ganga Nagar zone of Prayagraj. The elder son of the family kidnapped the father, sister and niece and killed them. After the murder, the accused threw the bodies of all three in the well.
It is being told that all three have been killed due to family dispute. All three deceased were missing since 11 pm on Friday (January 2). After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation.
Police arrested the accused
Police have arrested the killer’s son Mukesh Patel. Mukesh Patel has murdered his father Ram Singh, aged 55, and sister Sadhna Devi, aged 21, along with his 14-year-old niece. The accused committed the murder over a property dispute.
Accused Mukesh was angry with his father because he had transferred his property to his younger son Mukund. Out of resentment, Mukesh first shot his younger brother Mukund, due to which the younger brother Mukund was injured. After this, Mukesh kidnapped his father, sister and niece.
Younger son filed kidnapping report
The deceased’s younger son Mukund had lodged a missing report. After the complaint, the police started searching for the three. Even after searching for two days, nothing was found about the three, but when the police arrested the accused Mukesh, he confessed to his crime during police interrogation.
During interrogation, the accused told that due to greed for property, he had killed his father, sister and niece and thrown their bodies in the well. Mukesh also told that after killing all three, he had also shot his younger brother Mukund.
At present, the police have recovered the bodies of all three from the well on the instructions of the murderer’s son. Police have registered a case of murder against Mukesh and started further legal proceedings. This case is of Lokpur Bisani village of Mauaima police station area.
