Preity zinta thanks to ipl fans: Actress Preeti Zinta thanked the officials for ensuring safe farewell from Dharamshala after warning of air strikes in neighboring cities Jammu and Pathankot.

Heartfelt thanks to Indian Railways and our Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for helping both IPL teams and all officers and families to get out of Dharamshala in a safe, fast and comfortable way.”


Preeti thanked the officials, saying, “Jai Shah, Arun Dhumal, BCCI and our CEO Satish Menon and Punjab Kings IPL are very much thankful to help our stadium evacuate in a safe and systematic manner. Everything was very well handled.”

Preity also appreciated the people who came to watch the match, who watched the match calmly during the evacuation process.

It is noteworthy that the IPL match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals had to be canceled between just 10.1 overs due to a warning of airstrikes in Jammu and Pathankot. The IPL match was taking place at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.
