It seems that everything is not well in Upendra Kushwaha’s party in Bihar. Some pictures have surfaced which show signs of breakage. A period of speculation has started in the political circles regarding this. Last Wednesday (December 24, 2025) night, three party MLAs did not attend the Litti Chokha banquet organized by Upendra Kushwaha in Patna. All three went to meet BJP national executive Nitin Nabin on Wednesday.

Which MLAs met Nitin Nabin?

Among those who met are MLAs Madhav Anand, Alok Singh and Rameshwar Mahato. Rameshwar Mahato also shared the picture of the meeting with his X handle on Wednesday itself. In the picture that has surfaced, Rameshwar Mahato is seen on the right side of Nitin Nabin, Madhav Anand is seen on the left and Alok Singh is seen behind. The absence of the three MLAs from attending the Litti-Chokha banquet indicates an uneasy situation within the party.

While sharing the pictures of the meeting, Rameshwar Mahato has written on X, “Today, after his assumption of charge, the newly elected National Executive President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Honorable Shri Nitin Nabin ji, gave him a formal and courtesy meeting and extended our hearty congratulations and best wishes to him. On this occasion, Honorable MLA from Madhubani Assembly Shri Madhav Anand ji, Honorable MLA from Dinara Assembly Shri Alok Singh ji were also present. We all expressed our best wishes for the successful and effective discharge of his new responsibility. Did.”

Are these three MLAs angry with the party?

According to sources, ever since Upendra Kushwaha has made his son Deepak Prakash a minister, reports of displeasure have been coming from within the party. Deepak Prakash is neither an MLC nor has he contested the assembly elections, whereas the MLAs wanted that one of them should be made a minister. There is evidence of resentment among the MLAs regarding this. Now it has to be seen whether this is a normal meeting or something bigger is going to happen in the coming days.
