Prithvi Shaw Writes Letter to Mumbai Cricket Association: Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw has expressed willingness to play for another team except the Mumbai State team. Shaw wrote a letter to MCA
A senior official of the Mumbai Cricket Association confirmed PTI that Shaw has demanded NOC for transfer. He said, “Yes, we have received a letter from him and it has been sent to the Apex Council members or BCCI officials for approval and it is expected that the decision will come by evening.”
Shaw wrote in a letter to MCA that, “At this stage of my career, I have got an opportunity that I believe that I believe that my development and growth will be contributed as a cricketer. Keeping this in mind, I request you to issue a no objection certificate so that I have officially represent the new state association in the coming domestic season. I can. “
Shaw further wrote, “Please be convinced that I have taken this decision with great thought and respect for MCA. I will always be grateful to MCA for guidance and platforms for years.”
Shaw has dropped from Mumbai team
Shaw has been running out of Mumbai’s domestic team since December last year. The team dropped him first by citing fitness in the Ranji Trophy. Shaw played the last match in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Mumbai. Shaw was not bought by any team even in the IPL season of this cross.
