Priyanka chopra rejected ramayana: The audience is eagerly waiting for Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological film ‘Ramayana’. In this mega star cast film, more than one actor will be seen. In ‘Ramayana’, the legendary stars like Ranbir Kapoor to Sunny Deol and South Star Yash will be seen. Desi girl i.e. Priyanka Chopra was also offered for the film. But the actress turned down the offer.
Priyanka Chopra was offered Shurpanakha’s role in ‘Ramayana’. But according to a report by e-time, she could not agree for it due to Priyanka’s busy schedule. After Priyanka’s rejection, now this role is going to do actress Rakul Preet Singh.
Why Priyanka Chopra rejected Shurpanakha’s role
It is written in the report- ‘Shurpanakha is one of the real reasons for the existence of Ramayana. The makers wanted to take Priyanka Chopra for this role. But things were not effective due to their Bidi schedule with international projects. Then Rakul was selected for this role. She was perfect for this character and she brought this character with boom and newness.
Mega star cast of ‘Ramayana’
Ranbir Kapoor is going to appear in the role of Lord Ram in ‘Ramayana’. At the same time, Sai Pallavi will play the role of mother Sita, while Yash Ravana will be seen in avatar. Apart from this, Sunny Deol in the role of Hanuman, Ravi Dubey in the role of Laxman, Kajal Aggarwal in the role of Mandodari and Lara Dutta in the role of Kaikeyi. Nitesh Tiwari is making the film in two parts. The first part will be released on screen in Diwali 2026, while the second part will knock in Diwali 2027.
