A case of gross negligence in security has come to light in Mumbai’s local train. A person traveling with a sharp knife stabbed another passenger to death. This incident took place on platform number 1 of Malad railway station of Mumbai’s Western Railway line. A person has been murdered by stabbing him in the stomach with a sharp weapon. The deceased has been identified as college professor Alok Singh.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred after a minor altercation while deboarding the train. Both were passengers. This incident happened after a dispute while deboarding the local train. The accused passenger had kept a sharp knife with him. After the incident the accused fled from the spot.
Search for accused based on CCTV footage
On the other hand, Railway Police is searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV footage. The victim was taken to the hospital but was declared dead. There is great negligence on the part of Railways also. Questions are being raised as to how someone is traveling in a train with a sharp weapon.
