Under this scheme of UP government, farmers will get various types of modern tools at very low prices. Tools like tractor, rotavator, harrow, sprayer, thresher are of great help in farming. Earlier the work used to be done in hours. Now it can happen in minutes. The government is giving subsidy of up to 50% to the farmers. So that he can easily buy this tool.

According to Agriculture Officer Bhagwati Prasad, the objective of the scheme is to connect farmers with technology and make farming profitable. Farmers can buy any implement from any authorized seller and get subsidy by submitting the bill to the Agriculture Department.
How to apply and how much discount will you get?
The process of online application for taking subsidy through this scheme has started from 15th October and will continue till 12 midnight on 29th October. All farmers can apply by visiting the department’s website agridarshan.up.gov.in or can complete the process by visiting the nearest CSC centre.

No token money will be charged for small tools. Whereas on instruments worth Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000, a token money of Rs 2,500 will have to be paid and on instruments worth lakhs of rupees, token money will have to be paid up to Rs 5,000. After availing the benefit of the scheme, farmers can buy the equipment from the shop of their choice. After this he can get subsidy by submitting the invoice.
