These protein gives cancer cells the strength to fight the medicine, due to which the medicine is not able to affect. This is the reason that the effect of treatment on many patients does not last long and their condition starts deteriorating.
Why does not the effect of medicines not affect?
In the treatment of prostate cancer, medicines that block hormones are usually given. But when these proteins become active, cancer cells find ways to avoid medicine. Due to this, cancer cells start growing again and the patient’s condition may deteriorate.
What does this mean for patients?
The biggest result of this research is that doctors can now check how active these proteins are in the patient’s body before starting the medicine. If protein is more active, then doctors can immediately opt for second therapy or advance treatment.
What is a new treatment?
Scientists are now working on such targeted drugs, which can block these proteins. If these medicines were successful, then prostate cancer patients will get benefit for a long time and their lives will be improved.

Cancer expert believes that treatment cannot be the same for every patient. If doctors already identify these proteins, then treatment can be more effective and safe.
