All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association organized a protest march on Friday (January 16, 2026) in Budgam, Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The Shia community organized several protests in support of the Iranian government and condemning the protests taking place in Iran. A large number of people joined these protests after Friday prayers. Apart from this, during this period people of Shia community also raised slogans against America and Israel.
Demonstration with pictures of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association President Imran Raza Ansari had called for protests after Friday prayers in support of Iran and against the United States and Israel. The protesters carried photographs of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei as a symbol of solidarity. People of Shia community took out another protest march from Imambara in Budgam.
Anjuman-e-Shari Shia president condemned US and Israel
At the same time, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Safavi Al-Mousavi, President of Anjuman-e-Shari Shia, participated in these protests and strongly condemned the actions of the United States and Israel. During this, he accused them of supporting anti-government people in Iran.
Serious anti-government protests are taking place in Iran against the Mullah-led government after people are facing problems due to the deteriorating economic situation and rising inflation. These protests have turned into a full-scale uprising against the government, which blames the US and Israel for the violence.
America and Iran threatened Iran
At the same time, America and Israel have threatened that if the protesters are targeted, they will attack Iran, which clearly shows that they are supporting the anti-Khamenei protests.
