India Won Women’s World Cup 2025: The Indian team has won the title of Women’s World Cup 2025. Under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, Team India has created history by winning its first ICC title. The Indian team became world champion by winning by 52 runs in the final played against South Africa on Sunday, 2 November at DY Patil Stadium. On India becoming the world champion, everyone from Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar to Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan has congratulated the team for its victory. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President Rajeev Shukla has also shared the post for the Indian women’s team.

The Indian team became the new champion of world cricket by winning by 52 runs in the final match played against South Africa on Sunday at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Batting first, India scored 298 runs for 7 wickets. For India, Shefali Verma scored 87 runs and Deepti Sharma scored 58 runs. South Africa was all out for 246 runs in 45.3 overs. In bowling, Deepti Sharma took 5 wickets and Shefali took 2 wickets.
