PT Usha Husband Death: V Srinivasan, husband of Indian Olympic Association president and Rajya Sabha member PT Usha, died early Friday. Family sources have confirmed his death. He was 67 years old. There has been a wave of mourning in the sports and social world due to his demise.
According to family sources, V Srinivasan suddenly fainted at his residence in the early hours of Friday. Soon after, he was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, his life could not be saved.

V Srinivasan was a former central government employee. He stood by PT Usha at every step, from her brilliant sports career to her political journey. He was considered a strong supporter of Usha and was seen as the driving force behind many of her professional achievements. PT Usha and V Srinivasan have a son named Ujjwal.

PM Modi said that his thoughts are with the bereaved family in this difficult time and he prays for the peace of the departed soul. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has also expressed condolence on the demise of V. Srinivasan. He said in a post, “Deeply saddened to know about the demise of V. Srinivasan, husband of Rajya Sabha MP and Indian Olympic Association President P.T. Usha. My deepest condolences to P.T. Usha and his family. I pray to God to give you courage in this difficult time.”
