The suspicious death of Sadhvi Prem Baisa in Jodhpur, Rajasthan has raised many questions. In this case, three important characters are under investigation, they are – father Veeramnath, compounder Devi Singh and servant Suresh. The police is trying to find out what happened on the night of death.
In the death mystery of Sadhvi Prem Baisa, the police have found 3 such characters, who are being interrogated again and again. The first character is father Veeramnath, who was present with Sadhvi till the last moment. The second character is compounder Devi Singh, who administered the injection. The third character is the servant Suresh, who usually used to give food to Sadhvi.
During the investigation, two iPhones and a Samsung mobile were seized from Sadhvi. Police believe that these mobile phones may contain important information related to the death. When the father was asked for the passwords of these phones, he refused to give the information. For this reason the suspicion of the investigating agencies is deepening.
Question on pulses and injections
On the night of her death, Sadhvi had a cold and dal was prepared for her. Usually the servant Suresh used to take food, but that night father Veeramnath himself went to the room with pulses. Shortly after eating the dal, Sadhvi’s health started deteriorating and she had trouble breathing. After this the compounder was called and the injection was given.
Sadhvi died shortly after the injection. According to Sadhvi’s brother, the color of the body had turned blue after the injection. According to NDTV, compounder Devi Singh says that she gave the injection as per the doctor’s prescription. However, the police is investigating whether the injection was correct or not and whether it became the cause of death.
Why doubt the father, compounder and serviceman?
Suspicion on father Veeramnath has deepened because Sadhvi’s last moments were spent with him and he had earlier refused even the post-mortem. The operation of the ashram was also under the supervision of the father and questions have been raised on his conduct earlier also.
Compounder Devi Singh is being interrogated because she died after the injection. Questions are also being raised on his nursing degree and method of treatment. At the same time, Sevadar Suresh is a direct witness of the entire incident and he had prepared food and decoction for Sadhvi.
At present, the police is investigating on two points – whether the death was due to the reaction of wrong medicine or injection or whether the food was adulterated with some poisonous substance. The real cause of death will be clear only after the FSL report of viscera comes.
