Rachep Gupta wrote in the post, “Crowning was one of the most beloved dreams of my life, but the promises broke in the months after the crown was broken, abused and a toxic atmosphere that I can no longer tolerate quietly.”

Gupta also revealed that she is planning to release a video soon in which she will share her full story. He wrote in the caption, “The truth will be revealed very soon.” Addressing his global supports, he said, “If this news has disappointed you, I honestly apologize. Please understand that it was not an easy decision, but it was right for me.”
Miss Grand International Organization told a separate story
While Rachel Gupta described the reason for leaving the title, Personal Struggle and Toxic Work Environment, while Miss Grand International (MGI) Organization has told a different story. In an official statement posted on his social media platform, the pageant confirmed that Gupta has been officially removed from his post. Miss Grand International Organizer wrote in its statement, “Miss Grand International Organizer announces Miss Grand International 2024 title to terminate the title of 2024 with immediate effect.” The statement said. The organization also requested that it return the Crown to the MGI head office within 30 days.
According to the organization, Gupta failed to fulfill her responsibilities. She was involved in unauthorized external projects and also refused to attend the official trip to Guatemala.
