Rafale fighter jet: India is going to further strengthen its aerial strength in the coming few years. There has been a big deal between Dassault Aviation and Tata Group, the company that makes Rafale fighter jet. Dassault Aviation, along with the Tata Group, will now build the body of Rafale Fighter Jet in India. This will be the first time that the body of fighter jet will be built in France.
Rafale fighter jet’s body will be built in India
Rafael’s fusalaz (fighter jet structure or main body) will now be built in India. There have been four production transfer agreement between Tata Group and Dassold Aviation. This agreement will prove to be an important step towards strengthening the country’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and global supply chains.
Rafale fighter jet’s first structure will be prepared by 2028
As part of the delight with Dassault, Tata Advasad Systems will set up a plant equipped with latest technology in Hyderabad. This Tata plant will manufacture the main structural sections of Rafael. Here Lateral Shells of Rafael’s rear fuusalaj, Central Fucelaj, entire rear section and front section will be formed. According to sources, the first structure of Rafale Fighter Jet will be prepared from this production plant by 2028.
‘India will increase the ability to make defense equipment’
Eric Trappier of Dassault Aviation said, “This step is a decisive step in strengthening our supply chain in India. Thanks to the expansion of our local partners including the Indian aerospace industry. This supply chain will contribute to the successful ramp-up of Rafael.
Sukaran Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Tata Advanced Systems Limited, said, “The deal is an important step in India’s aerospace sector. The deal shows that India’s technology can support global platforms.” The Tata Group and Dassault already form parts of aircraft like Rafael and Mirage 2000.
