As the date of Bihar Assembly elections is coming closer, leaders of political parties are adopting every means to win over the people of the state in their favor. In this series, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has also done a similar surprising feat on Sunday (November 2, 2025). Actually, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had reached Begusarai district of the state to campaign for the Bihar Assembly elections. During this, the Congress leader jumped into the pond to catch fish with the local people.
In Begusarai district, along with Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief and Grand Alliance’s Deputy Chief Minister candidate Mukesh Sahni and Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar also entered the pond for fishing.

Elections will be held in two phases in Bihar
It is noteworthy that the date of voting for Bihar Assembly has been fixed in two phases in the state. During this, the first phase of voting will be held in many districts of Bihar on Thursday (November 6, 2025). After this, voting will be held in the remaining districts of the state on Tuesday next week (November 11, 2025) and after that the election results will be announced on Friday next week (November 14, 2025).
Strong preparations by all political parties
Leaders of all political parties are trying their best to win the trust of the people of the state in the Bihar Assembly elections. During this time, the leaders of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the allies of the opposition Grand Alliance are continuously accusing each other. Along with this, they are demanding support from the public for their respective candidates.
