Rahul gandhi in kanpur: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi reached Kanpur on Wednesday (April 30, 2025) to meet the family of Shubham Dwivedi, who lost his life in the Pahalgam terror attack. During this, he paid tribute to Shubham and tied the family. At the same time, Rahul Gandhi also got the whole family talk to MP Priyanka Gandhi from Wayanad on the phone. The Dwivedi family demanded Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi to give martyr status to Shubham.
Rahul Gandhi said, “A special session should be called for those who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.” At the same time, he assured the family to provide all possible help. Rahul Gandhi met Shubham’s family for about half an hour.

Who was Shubham Dwivedi?
Shubham Dwivedi was 31 years old and used to do his business in Kanpur. He was married two months ago on 12 February and he went to Kashmir on a week’s holiday on 16 April along with his wife and other nine members of the family. On April 22, there was a stir in the Dwivedi family when the news came that Shubham was shot dead in front of his wife in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
