He will now be in the government residence at 5, Golden Bagh Road. This bungalow was allocated in the Type-8 category after he was appointed as the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha last year. According to the information, Rahul Gandhi formally shifted to this new residence on Wednesday morning. This place is important from the point of view of security and parliamentary system and this category is allotted to senior leaders.
Rahul reached Congress headquarters on the occasion of his birthday
After reaching the party headquarters, Rahul Gandhi said in a post on X, “Congress President Kharge ji, thanks to all our leaders and every Babbar lion and lioness of the Congress family for best wishes and support. Your love and encouragement inspires me every day. We stand together – for truth, for justice, for India.”

PM Modi has congratulated Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha on his 55th birthday. PM Modi wrote in his X post, “Happy birthday to Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. He gets a long and healthy life, this is a prayer.”
