In such a situation, the candidates who have registered for the examination are advised to read all the instructions and rules carefully before appearing in the examination so that they do not face any problem in the examination.
It is mandatory for the candidates to bring their Aadhar card with them at the examination centre. This is required for biometric verification and must be activated in the UIDAI system. Apart from this, e-admit card is also necessary to appear in the examination. Candidates must reach the examination center at the reporting time given on the admit card.
Use of any type of electronic gadget is strictly prohibited at the examination centre. This also includes mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pen drives, laptops, calculators, wrist watches, metal objects like jewellery, belts, shoes, purses and pens-pencils. If any candidate is found violating these rules, he/she may be debarred from appearing in all RRB and RRC examinations for life.
Talking about the exam pattern, Group-D CBT exam will be of total 90 minutes and 100 questions will be asked in it. One mark will be given for every correct answer, while one-third mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
As per minimum qualifying marks, 40 percent marks will be required for Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 30 percent marks for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and 30 percent marks for SC/ST candidates.
The subjects have been selected to test the suitability of the candidates in the examination. It will include questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness and Current Affairs. Group-D Recruitment Candidates will be selected for various technical departments like Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Assistant Pointsman, Electrical, Mechanical, Signal and Telecommunication.
