New rule for waiting ticket: In Indian Railways, crores of people travel through trains. Thousands of trains are run by the Railways for these passengers. Most of the passengers traveling in the train prefer to travel only after getting reservation. The reservation coach has less crowd of passengers. Everyone gets their seat. And all facilities are also available.
But many times the ticket is not confirmed by getting reservation. The ticket of many passengers goes into waiting. After this, passengers keep waiting for their tickets to be confirmed. And after the final chart of the ticket confirmation train i.e. 4 hours before running the train is available. But now the railway is going to change this rule. Now the status of waiting tickets will be known so many hours ago.

Currently, the status of their waiting ticket is revealed 4 hours before the train of passengers traveling by train. Because of this, many passengers do not get a chance to choose the alternate option. Because if the ticket is already confirmed or not, then passengers can choose the option to travel in a bus or other way.

In view of this, the Railways has now decided to change this rule. According to the information received by the Indian Railways, now not 4 hours before but passengers will be given information about their waiting tickets 24 hours in advance. With this, the passengers will have enough time, they can choose another option for the journey.

Let us tell you that recently this new rule has been started as a pilot project on Bikaner Railway Division, which has been completely successful. Now soon this rule will be implemented in the rest of the country as well. However, no information has been officially shared by the Railways about when this new rule will be applicable. But the Railway Minister informed that soon this rule will be implemented on many major railway routes of the country including Delhi, Mumbai.
