Which exam will be held on which day according to the recruitment calendar of 2026?
According to the RRB Exam Calendar 2026, different recruitments will be conducted in a phased manner throughout the year. The recruitment process of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) will proceed between January to March, in which vacancies will be assessed through OIRMS in December 2025 and draft of notification will be prepared in February 2026. Recruitment for the posts of Technician and Section Controller is proposed during April to June. After this, there will be recruitment for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), Paramedical Staff and NTPC (Graduate and Under Graduate) categories between July to September. The recruitment process for Ministerial and separate categories as well as Level-1 posts will be started from October to December, while the exact dates of all the examinations will be released by the respective RRBs through separate official notifications.

Railway Board has given clear instructions to all the zonal railways and production units to complete the assessment of their respective vacancies within the stipulated time limit. This entire process will be done through Online Integrated Railway Management System (OIRMS). Its purpose is that the data of all the vacant posts should be available on a single platform, so that the recruitment process can be made simple and fast. The examinations of 2026 can be conducted without any delay.
