The weather is now changing in North India. There is strong sunshine during the day and slight cold at night. The minimum mercury in the country’s capital Delhi has now fallen below normal. White blanket of snow has spread in the hilly states including Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Due to monsoon, rains are still continuing at many places in eastern and south Indian states.
Now in Uttar Pradesh, there is strong sunshine during the day, while it has started getting cold at night. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will remain the same in the coming days also. Due to cold at night, a drop in minimum temperature is being seen. The minimum temperature in Kanpur city has fallen below 15 degrees Celsius, while in many districts including the capital Lucknow the minimum temperature has fallen below 20 degrees Celsius.
How will the weather be in UP?
Today on Monday (October 13), the weather may remain dry in western and eastern UP. Also, on 14th and 15th October the weather may remain clear in Western and Eastern UP. During this period, there is no possibility of heavy rain or strong wind anywhere in the state. Similarly, on October 16 and 17, the weather may remain clear in the western and eastern parts of the state. Even during this period, no alert of any kind has been issued in the state.
It starts getting cold in the morning and evening in Bihar
If we talk about Bihar adjacent to UP, the weather has started changing gradually. There is a slight chill in the air in the morning and evening, while in the afternoon there is still a feeling of heat due to the strong sunlight. According to Meteorological Center Patna, monsoon is gradually withdrawing from the state. The effect of monsoon will end in 3-4 days.
The Meteorological Department has not issued any warning regarding rain at present. The weather of the state will generally remain dry on Monday. There is a possibility of partly cloudy sky at some places.
In which states there is a possibility of rain?
There is a possibility of light rain in the areas of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to the Meteorological Department, due to early snowfall in the mountains and cold winds driven by western disturbances, winter has started being felt ahead of time in North India.
