Incessant rains in Marathwada, Maharashtra have disturbed life. Eight people have lost their lives due to continuous rains for the last one week. In this, 3 people have died in Latur district, 1 in Dharashiv, 2 in Beed and 1 in Nanded.
A total of 150 animals died in Marathwada. It has killed 5 in Sambhajinagar district, 15 in Jalna, 6 in Parbhani, 6 in Hingoli, 9 in Nanded, 63 in Beed, 7 in Latur and 21 in Dharashiv district.
A total of 76 places in Marathwada have lost private and public properties. Roads were washed away at 6 places. The bridges were washed away at 5 places. 327 pucca houses fell. 2 schools collapsed. The ponds were broken at 4 places.
Contact with 67 villages lost
A total of 67 villages in Marathwada are still broken. In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, 11 villages in Jalna, 30 in Jalna, 30 in Parbhani and 20 in Latur have lost contact.
The number of people trapped in the flood is 214 at present. Which includes Jalna – 35, Beed – 29 and Dharashiv – 150 citizens.
548 people were taken to safe sites in Marathwada. In which Jalna – 90, Beed – 442 and Dharashiv – 150 people have been evacuated to safe places.
Army contingent deployed
One contingent of army has been deployed in Parbhani, Beed and Dharashiva districts. The army is doing rescue work in Dharashiv district, while the army in Parbhani and Beed will arrive in some time.
The NDRF is also active in these three districts and relief and rescue operations are going on. In Vaghegavhan village of Dharashiv district, 150 people are stranded in floods. The NDRF and the army are constantly trying to take them to a safe place.

About 1,200 mandals have been overflowed in this Kharif season. In many mandals, two or two, three-three times overflows have been recorded.
By 17 September, there was a loss of 18 lakh 27 thousand hectares of crop. Whereas from September 18 to Sunday, there has been a loss of crops in an additional 4 lakh 91 thousand hectare area.
So far, Rs 696 crore has been assisted to compensate for the loss of July and August. While proposals have been sent through the Divisional Commissioner for the demand of Rs 721 crore.
Insurance will get help but will not get immediate relief. It has been told that insurance money will be available only after testing of crop harvesting.
What did Devendra Fadnavis say?
After the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that all ministers should visit the affected areas affected by the rain. In the last few days, the state has received large -scale rains. 995.5 mm rainfall has been recorded.
The CM said that orders have been given to do Panchnama of farmers’ loss. 1829 crores have been deposited. 2215 crore will be deposited in the next eight days. The work is not stopped. As soon as the report comes, the work of helping is started. The central government has given us advance help. Center is getting help. Distribution has started.
Devendra Fadnavis said, “The rights to help in unfortunate incidents have been given to the District Magistrate. Orders have been given to provide immediate help. The damage caused by hailstorm and drought is being compensated in every way. ”
Eknath Shinde visited
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Transport Minister and Palak Minister of Dharashiv district Pratap Sarnaik will visit Dharashiv district tomorrow. Will take stock of the flood situation here. Liberations will be distributed by Shiv Sena to 12,500 families.
Meteorological Alert
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Western Maharashtra, Konkan and North Maharashtra are likely to rain strongly in the next 24 to 48 hours and Yellow alerts have been declared everywhere. Gadchirauli, Washim, Wardha, Chandrapur, Buldhana and Yavatmal of Vidarbha have been expected to have high torrential rains on Tuesday in these six districts.
