Juhi, daughter of veteran Bollywood actor Raj Babbar, is an actress and theater artist. On Tuesday, he remembered the moments spent with Dharmendra after his demise. He shared the post on social media and wrote an emotional note remembering Dharmendra.
Remembered Dharmendra
Posting a video on her Instagram, Juhi wrote, ‘Dharam Uncle, these are the memories of you when I was very young. Mom, Gorky, and I went to Kullu-Manali shoot with dad. I remember, you saw how afraid I was of the flowing river, then you made me sit on your back and took me near the water. That moment was so deeply embedded in my heart that many years later, when I was making my play ‘With Love Aapki Sayara’, I recreated that memory through a photoshopped picture of us.
She wrote- ‘When I returned to work after the break and started writing, directing and producing my play ‘With Love Aapki Sayara’, only one face came to my mind. That face was yours, which could perfectly portray the beautiful relationship between Saira and her father. Juhi told that she had called Dharmendra and told him about the play and the actor had immediately agreed to it. He further wrote- ‘You played the role of Baba in the drama and no one can take this place. You will always be Sayara’s Baba.
He further wrote- ‘It was only because of your blessings that the play proved to be such a hit.’ Juhi told that as soon as Dharmendra appeared on the screen, people’s breath stopped, the laughter, emotions, and silence, everything was so deep and unique that it had no match. She told that now when I look back at the old moments, I understand that the name I heard the most at home, the person to whom my father gave the most love, respect and affection, was you. You were like an elder brother to my father. Your departure is such a void for our family that no one can fill.
