Sonam Raghuvanshi, wife of the main accused Raja in the murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi, may file a bail petition in front of the Judicial Magistrate of Sohra Sub-Division today (September 12). Sonam’s lawyer will demand bail on the basis of the flaws of the charge sheet filed by the Meghalaya police in this case.
The lawyers will present a petition for bail citing flaws in the charge sheet. He said, “Bail petition will be filed in the charge sheet due to formal and legal flaws.” Such handed over can usually work in favor of the accused in the court.
790 -page charge sheet was filed
Last week, Eastern Khasi Hills Police filed a detailed charge sheet of 790 pages in this case. This report includes the names of a total of 5 main accused. Investigators have described the case as a well -planned and frightening conspiracy.
In the charge sheet, Raja’s wife Sonam, her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha and 3 rented attackers Vishal Singh Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi have been accused. All of them have been booked under sections 103 (1), 238 (a) and 61 (2) of the Indian Code, 2023.
The story of the murder of King Raghuvanshi has been completely sensational. The police have described it as a serious and planned case, in which the role of all the accused has been proved separately.

He went missing on 23 May. 11 days later, on June 2, the body of the king was found in 150 feet deep ditch near Weisadong Falls in East Khasi Hills, but Sonam has not been detected yet.
