Maharashtra Woman Kills Husband: A heartbreaking incident came to light on the day of Vat Purnima in Kupwad in Sangli district of Maharashtra. On May 23, Satara resident Radhika Lokhande was married to Anil Lokhande, but just three weeks after the wedding, the relationship came to an end. The woman killed her husband with an ax.

It is being told that there was a fight between the two late on Tuesday (June 10). According to the police, when Anil fell asleep at around 12:30 pm, Radhika hit her head with an ax. Anil died on the spot.

Husband murdered after family feud
After the murder, Radhika informed her cousin. The police arrested the accused wife on Wednesday (June 11) and produced in the court, from where she has been sent to police custody for two days.

Assistant Inspector Deepak Bhandwalkar of MIDC Police Station said that in the preliminary investigation, the reason for the murder is being considered family feud.

Case filed on complaint of Anil’s relative
Deepak Bhandwalkar further said that on the basis of the complaint of the deceased’s relative Mukesh Lokhande, a case is being registered against the deceased’s wife Radhika under Section 103 (1) of BNS.

Battle on making physical relations
According to the information received by the police, the accused woman has been arrested. This was the second marriage of Anil Lokhande, a resident of Kupwad tehsil in Sangli district. His first wife died of cancer. Police say that there was a debate between Anil Lokhande and wife Radhika to make physical relations after marriage.

“Angered by an official of Kupwad MIDC Police Station, Radhika attacked her husband with an ax when he was sleeping.” The accused woman was booked under the relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code. The investigation of the case is going on.
