The Anti -Corruption Bureau has registered a case of disproportionate assets against Transport Inspector Sujanaram Chaudhary posted in Sirohi District Transport Office. According to primary investigation and information received from confidential sources, the accused has earned illegal assets worth about crores of rupees.
This is said to be about 201 percent more than their valid income. Sujanaram Chaudhary has earned 15 residential and commercial buildings, shops and plots at various places including Bhinmal, Mount Abu, Jalore and Jodhpur while in government service. The estimated market price of these properties has been estimated at more than ₹ 3.35 crore.
Investigation has also revealed that the names of the accused and his families eat in 7 different banks. Transactions of crores of rupees are recorded in these accounts. Also, a cash amount of more than Rs 12 lakh has been received as a balance.
ACB has raided Sirohi, Jalore and Jodhpur under the leadership of ASP Khivan Singh of Pali II. Action has been taken simultaneously on 6 major locations related to Sujanaram Chaudhary. These include housing in village Kushalpura (Bhinmal, Jalore), houses in Pal Ashapurna City (Jodhpur), residential complex of Chaupasni Housing Board Scheme (Jodhpur).
Apart from this, shop plots in Masuria, Shastri Nagar (Jodhpur), House in Aunda Lakra Yojana (Mount Abu, Sirohi) and District Transport Office (Sirohi) are also included.
ACB has also started an investigation at the RTO check post around Rajasthan Gujarat Border Sanchore, Mandar (Jalore) and Sirohi. The activities of the Transport Inspector are being monitored at these places. Possible evidence of corruption is being collected.
The matter is still under investigation. More properties may be revealed in the coming days. Action is going on against the accused under case number 191/2025. At present, the whole picture will be cleared only after the completion of the action.
