The monsoon session of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly started today from 1 September. On the very first day, opposition MLAs lodged a fierce protest outside the House. Congress MLAs united and shouted slogans with placards written outside the assembly. He raised slogans like “Vote thieves Savdhan”, “Awake Gaya Hindustan” and “Vote Chor Gaddi Chho”.

At the same time, on reaching the assembly, ministers and MLAs welcomed Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. The Chief Minister also met Speaker Vasudev Devnani. The condolence meeting was held after the beginning of the session, but due to the uproar, the speaker adjourned the House till 3 September.

Opposition uproar outside the house

On the first day, the Congress Legislature Party showed its attitude. The MLA reached the assembly as a march from the residential complex. This march looked peaceful, but as soon as the MLA reached the assembly, he started shouting slogans like “Vote Thief”. The opposition protested against the government by making serious allegations of vote theft.

The opposition said that the rights of the people are being taken away in democracy and they will not tolerate it. This protest continued outside the assembly for a long time.

Congress MLA and Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Tikaram Julie said, “The way BJP is in power by running a vote theft campaign in the country, Rahul Gandhi has revealed his truth. Rahul Gandhi provided data with evidence, after which the Election Commission should have taken action.”

He further said that “The Election Commission is acting as an agent of BJP. The public support that Rahul Gandhi has got in Bihar.

Sachin Pilot protested

Congress leader Sachin Pilot was also present outside the House. He said that today Rahul Gandhi is leading a huge journey against vote theft in Patna. Pilot said, “We are standing with all the people. The public does not want their rights to be taken away. People of the entire country and India alliance are united against vote theft under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.”

He also said that the attack on democracy will not be tolerated at any cost and the whole country is united against repeated efforts to gain power.
