Automatic promotion ends, it is necessary to get 33 percent marks
Rajasthan Board has made the biggest change this year in the passing policy. Whereas earlier students of class 5th and 8th used to get automatic promotion, now this rule has been completely abolished. According to the new system, it will be mandatory for every student to score at least 33 percent marks in every subject to pass. Also, overall 33 percent marks will be required. Those students who will not be able to score the prescribed marks do not need to be disappointed. The board will give them a chance to appear for the compartment exam within 45 days, so that they can save a year by appearing for the exam again.

How many marks does the board paper carry?
In Rajasthan Board Exam, every subject carries 100 marks. There is a theory paper of 80 marks and a practical paper of 20 marks. In such a situation, to pass out of total 600 marks, it is necessary to get at least 180 marks. According to the rules of the board, it is necessary for every student to get at least 33 percent marks in every subject. In such a situation, according to Rajasthan Board, students have to score a total of 33 percent marks including theory and practical assessment to pass.
How to check board result?
Rajasthan Board will release the results of class 5th, 8th and 10th today at 1:00 pm. In such a situation, 10th class students can login to the website with the help of their roll number and see the marksheet. Subject wise number, total number and pass-fail status will be given in the online mark sheet. However, this will be a provisional marksheet and the actual marksheet will be received from the school.

- After this click on the link of RBSE Class 5 Result 2026 or RBSE Class 8 Result 2026.
- Now after filling all the details and submitting, your result will be visible on the screen.
