Once again the anger of cow protectors was seen in Rajasthan, when cow protection organizations and Bajrang Dal workers stopped the convoy of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and lodged a protest at the Hanging Bridge of Kota. This incident happened on 28 December.

Cow protectors have been agitating for the last two weeks regarding disposal of dead cows in the Municipal Corporation area. Case of dragging cattle on the streets

It was alleged that contractors associated with the Municipal Corporation were dumping dead cows in open fields and vacant plots against the rules. Cases of cattle being dragged on the roads have also come to light at many places. Which they consider not only inhuman but also an insult to religious beliefs. Due to this kind of treatment of cattle, the risk of foul smell and infection in the area is also increasing.

I myself am Sanatani, the officers are lazy – Vasundhara Raje

After being surrounded by cow protectors, former CM Vasundhara Raje has said that she herself is Sanatani. Negligence of officials in the protection of mother cows will not be tolerated at all. He said that cow protectors are protesting and the officials are not listening. The public is active, the officers are lazy. The strange thing is that people have been raising their voice since December 14, but the officers are not listening to them. This will definitely not work.

Former CM Vasundhara Raje called Kota Range DIG Rajendra Goyal and SP Tejaswini Gautam to the spot and instructed them to investigate the matter thoroughly and take strict action against the culprits. Both the police officers assured that the culprits would be punished and the last rites of the mother cow would be performed duly by burying the soil. However, Vasundhara Raje could leave from there only after about half an hour.
