Rajasthan: In Rajasthan, strict action will be taken against careless and corrupt employees, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma gave these instructions

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma clearly said that no laxity will be taken on corrupt and careless employees. During the review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on 1 September, he instructed the officials that the state government is committed to transparent and accountable good governance, so all the employees should give top priority to the work related to public interest.

Chief Minister Sharma said in the meeting that officers and employees should solve the problems of the common man with full devotion and dedication. He also clarified that strict action will be taken against those who are negligent in work and employees involved in corruption, while those who work honestly will be honored. For this, the District Magistrates have been ordered to prepare a list of such personnel and send it to the government, who are allegations of indiscipline, negligence or corruption.

Review of flood affected areas

The Chief Minister also reviewed the areas affected by heavy rains in the meeting. He directed the District Magistrates that relief and rescue operations should be carried out rapidly in areas affected by heavy rains. Protection of every life and property should be given priority and immediate assistance should be provided to the victims. Sharma said that the officer should manage disaster with sensitivity and readiness so that there is no negligence.

Neighboring states confident of cooperation

Chief Minister Sharma also spoke to Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on September 1. He assured both the states that the Rajasthan government is ready to provide all possible help in this hour of crisis. He said that it is our responsibility to stand with neighboring states during the disaster and the Rajasthan government will play it with sensitivity and readiness.
