Rajasthan: ‘Self census’ will be held for the first time, citizens will be able to count themselves, it will start from this day

The Census 2027 program has started across the country this year. For this, different states will start it at different times. The date of census has been announced in Rajasthan. Regarding this, the Statistics Department has also issued the notification for the first phase of census in Rajasthan. House listing work will be done in the first phase of census in Rajasthan. Which will start from 16th May and the process will be completed by 14th June.

This will be the first time that self-census is being implemented. Through which a person can also do his own calculations. However, the verification of self-census will be done only by the employees engaged in census.

Common people will also be able to do census work

Let us tell you that this time the census work will be done by the general public along with the government employees, for which soon a portal and application will be launched by the department. In which common people will be able to upload information at their level. Whose verification will be done by the employees doing the census work.

Common people will be able to upload their information on the portal from May 1 to May 15. After the self-census, a team of government employees will go door-to-door for house listing.

Only houses will be listed in the first phase census

In the notification issued by the Statistics Department, it has been said that in the first phase of census, only houses will be listed and after that people will be counted next year. This time caste census will also be conducted. The Census 2027 program is going to start across the country this year. In Rajasthan it is starting from 16th May.

Training of employees and officers regarding census starts from February

Training of employees and officers regarding census is going to start from the month of February. Let us tell you that about 2 lakh officers and employees will be deployed for the census work who will go door to door and do the census work. The officers and employees engaged in census will not be transferred for about one and a quarter year.

This will include Collector, SDM, Tehsildar, Commissioner of urban bodies, teachers engaged as enumerators in census, Patwari and village servants. These officers and employees can be transferred only under special circumstances.
