The temperature reached near 40 degrees
A period of scorching heat was witnessed in Rajasthan on Sunday (8 March). Where at many places the maximum temperature reached around 40 degrees Celsius. India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information. According to IMD’s Jaipur centre, Pilani in Jhunjhunu district recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees Celsius.
After this it remained 40 degrees Celsius in Barmer. In this way, this much increase in temperature since the month of March has surprised everyone. From this it can be calculated that in the coming time, heat can make life difficult for the people of Rajasthan. People’s concerns regarding this have already increased. If this continues, citizens may have to face the brunt of drought.
What was the temperature in these districts
The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius in Bikaner, 39.1 degrees Celsius in Churu and 39.2 degrees Celsius in Jaisalmer. The temperature was recorded at 38.8 degrees Celsius in Jodhpur city, 38.5 degrees Celsius in Fatehpur (Sikar) and 38.2 degrees Celsius in Banasthali of Tonk and Phalodi of Jodhpur.
The maximum temperature in Jaipur was 37.1 degrees Celsius, while 37.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sriganganagar and Jhunjhunu. According to the Meteorological Department, heat is expected to increase in many parts of the state for the coming few days. Regarding which the Meteorological Department has expressed a possibility.
