Born on July 19, 1955, Binny was an important player of the 1983 World Cup winning team. He is the first Anglo-Indian of Scottish origin to play cricket for India. He took 47 and 77 wickets in 27 Tests and 72 ODIs respectively. He has 629 in 49 innings in ODIs and 830 runs in 41 innings of Tests.
