While Rajkummar Rao’s film ‘Malik’ is made in a budget of only 30 crores, on the other hand the cost of other big films is far more, especially if you look at the recent films of Hollywood and Bollywood, then the difference of the budget is clearly visible.
Two big Hollywood movies, F1 and Jurassic World Reibart, recently discussed. Even though the name and scale looks very big, their total budget does not sit much than Rajkumar Rao’s film ‘Malik’.
The total budget of both films is about 480 million dollars, which if converted to Indian rupees, it is about 4122 crores.
Spending in Bollywood is also big, expectations are also heavy
On the other hand, if we talk about Hindi cinema, then the two popular films of this year are ‘Stars Zameen Par’ and ‘Metro the second part of these days. The budget of ‘Stars on the ground’ is being told about 90 crores, while ‘Metro in Dino 2’ is made in a budget of about 85 crores. The total cost of these two films spends 175 crores.
Now when we compare, these two big, heavy budget films and ‘owner’ on the other side, which have been prepared in just 30 crores. But having a low budget does not mean a weak film, especially when there are actors like Rajkumar Rao in the film.
The ‘owner’ does not need to earn a lot to be a hit. If this film earns its cost i.e. 30 crores, ie about 60 crores, then the film will be considered a hit. Let me tell you that this film ‘Malik’ will be released in theaters on 11 August 2025.
