Jammu kashmir news: A video of a man assaulted by the army in Naushera area of Rajouri district of Jammu has gone viral. On this incident, the army has said that the person with whom the fight was assaulted tried to snatch the arms of the army. This case is on Thursday (April 17) evening when the army had imposed a barrier in Lam area of Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
On this block, the army was searching all the vehicles and in the meantime, there was an argument with the army officers of a person sitting there and then made serious allegations of assault.
What did PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti say on the incident?
On this matter, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti wrote on the social media platform X, “Extremely disturbing pictures have come out of Naushera’s lam, where army soldiers were seen brutally attacking Professor Liaquat Chaudhary. At the time of the incident, the professor was going to attend his sister’s wedding with his brothers. This shocking incident has broken the faith of the common man. Especially when the victim’s family proudly served the Indian Army.
He further wrote, “I urge senior military personnel to take immediate and strict action against those responsible. Such people tarnish the reputation of a reputed institution with their unacceptable and tyrannical behavior. ”
What did the army say on the allegations of assault?
After this, the army gave a statement on the matter, saying, “An incident has come to light, in which some persons were allegedly assaulted by army personnel in Rajouri district. The army had received information about the possible movement of terrorists in a vehicle in this sensitive area. After this information, a search operation was being conducted in the area. Preliminary information revealed that when stopped, a person tried to snatch the weapons of soldiers on duty and scrambles with them. However, the investigation has been started.
It was further said by the army, “If any worker is found guilty of misbehavior, strict action will be taken according to the current law.
