Rakul Preet Singh’s in-laws faced financial loss, saw difficulties after Akshay’s Rs 400 crore film flopped.

Rakul Preet Singh’s in-laws and husband Jackky Bhagnani had suffered huge losses in 2024. The film Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, made in his production house Pooja Entertainment, flopped badly. The cost of making this film was approximately Rs 400 crores. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff were in lead roles in the film.

Now actress Rakulpreet Singh has talked about this.

Talking to Humans of Bombay about supporting her husband in difficult times, Rakul said, ‘If you are also a part of this business, then you know that nowadays there is a culture of clickbait. You know the reality and what is really happening. I have seen that entire phase. So that’s why it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter if anyone writes anything about me tomorrow because he knows me. Being a part of this industry, you have to cut out outside noises. You cannot be influenced by what people say, because most of the time people are not saying the right thing. We need to be honest with each other.

What did Rakulpreet Singh say about the difficult times?

Rakul further said, ‘This was a very challenging time for the family and Jackie. But most of the things written were not correct. No company was closed. I don’t care about these things because I knew the truth. It is true that 2-3 films did not work. This resulted in huge financial loss. But this happens with every producer. This also happened with Amitabh Bachchan at one point. This is just a phase.

Rakul said, ‘There are two ways to look at any situation in life. You can either remember the bad things or be grateful for what you have, like a roof, a healthy body. I can either say that my film did not earn Rs 500 crore or I can be grateful that I have a film. I am working. People are liking my work.
