This film is being made in two parts. The first part of the film will be released in 2026. At the same time, the second part will be released in 2027. Meanwhile, a new news is coming out and that is that Anurag Basu has refused to work in ‘Kishore Kumar’s biopic’ to play the role of Lord Ram.
According to the report, ‘Kishore Kumar’s biopic’ made under the direction of Anurag Basu was first offered to Ranbir Kapoor. But later there were reports that Aamir Khan will work in this film.

Now Bbc Anurag Basu said in an interview given to,He and Ranbir wanted to work together in this film, but it was not possible due to scheduling struggle and other things. He said that this decision was very difficult for Ranbir. But he was forced to choose one film,
Anurag Basu further said that Ranbir quit Kishore’s biopic and chose ‘Ramayana’. He had an option, but in which film to work first, it was difficult to choose this option. When Ranbir chose Ramayana, I felt that this decision was right. Let me tell you that Ranbir Kapoor worked with Anurag Basu in ‘Barfi’ in 2012 and ‘Jagga Jasoos’ in 2017.
