Couple reunited after years: Many couples in Bollywood are living separately despite being married. They have not been divorced but they have been sepled for years. One of these names is Kareena Kapoor’s parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor. The couple was living separately for years despite getting married, but now both have decided to live together. The reason for this is given by his daughter Kareena Kapoor.
Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor were tied in marriage in the year 1971. After 17 years of marriage, in 1988, he became separated and started living separately. But now both of them want to spend their old age. In a recent interview to Barkha Dutt, Kareena Kapoor spoke about her parents. He said- ‘Everyone’s parents are the best parents in the world. And my parents are the best parents in the world.
‘Your old age holds each other’s hand …’
| Kareena Kapoor further said about the parents- ‘Now he has decided that he just wants to spend his old age holding each other’s hand because his journey started from here and he is together here. This is something that has become a circle for Karishma and me which is a completely magical. I think both of them are amazing because I mean that my father has always supported whatever he wanted to do in my life.
‘We have carried forward Kapoor heritage …’
Kareena Kapoor further said- ‘Now when I have become deliberately or unknowingly become parents, we think are we hurting our child? Do we think that no one wants to do this? But they (Babita and Randhir) clearly think that they are trying to give their best. I think we have carried forward Kapoor heritage. Before Ranbir’s arrival, only I and Karisma were. So both girls, really as my mom says they are not lions, they are tigress because they have carried out the legacy.
