However, India’s name is not included in the list of top-5 navies of the world. In the latest ranking report of World Directory of Modern Warships and Submarines (WDDMW), the list of navies of 40 countries of the world has been released. While preparing this list, WDMMW has kept in mind the True Value Rating of the Navy of each country. It is based on the number of navies of 40 countries, modernization projects, logistical support, ability to attack and capabilities to defend in case of attack.
Who are included in the top-5 countries?
According to the report, America’s Navy remains number-1 in the world with its unmatched capability and strength of 11 aircraft carriers. The US Navy has large ships and great war fighting capability. At the same time, most of the 11 aircraft carriers available with America are nuclear powered. India’s neighboring country China is at second place in this list. Which is ahead of the US Navy in many respects. However, WDMMW has said in this ranking that China’s navy will soon become the most powerful navy in the world.
Whereas the Navy of Russia, the second most powerful country in the world, is at third place in this list. However, the Russian Navy has been described as a complex power in this list. Russia has a submarine fleet, which has the capability to carry nuclear weapons. Apart from this, Russia also has advanced anti-ship missiles. Indonesian Navy is at number four in this list. Which has about 245 different types of warships. Indonesia is continuously developing its navy and its capabilities for blue water operations. South Korea is at number five in this list. The South Korean Navy is one of the most modern navies in Asia.
India at number seven in the list
At the same time, according to the ranking of WDDMW, India is at seventh position. Indian Navy has been given 100.5 true value rating in the list. The Indian Navy currently has two aircraft carriers INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya, 19 submarines, 74 Fleet Corps and 5 amphibious assault units.
At the same time, Pakistan’s ranking in this list is at number 26. Pakistan Navy currently does not have any aircraft carrier. However, while it has 8 submarines, there are 28 fleet corps.
