Union Home Minister Amit Shah termed former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi as corrupt. Amit Shah said on Thursday (30 October) in Lakhisarai, just before the Bihar Assembly elections, that before 2005, the entire Bihar was in the grip of Jungle Raj. He said that all industries and trade were closed, only kidnapping and ransom business was going on.
Amit Shah said,6 Voting is on November, all of you have to press the button on the lotus and arrow symbol, But do not press the button thinking that your vote will make someone an MLA or a minister, rather you should vote thinking that each of your votes is for developing Bihar under the leadership of Nitish ji and Modi ji. Every vote of yours is to stop Jungle Raj.
Union Home Minister took a jibe at RJD
He said, “Lalu-Rabri committed scams in Bihar. Their big leader is Rahul Baba, Congress also committed frauds, scams and corruption worth Rs 12 lakh crore in 10 years. Lalu-Rabri and Congress cannot do any good to Bihar. It has been 20 years since Nitish Babu and 11 years since Modi ji, both of them have not been accused of corruption of even four annas. All the money is spent for the poor.
