Pakistan-Afghanistan War: Air strike has taken place in Paktika province of Afghanistan. This attack was carried out by Pakistan on the late night of 17 October 2025, in which three local cricketers of Afghanistan cricket were killed. Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) is saddened by the death of its players Kabir, Sibgatullah and Haroon. Condemning this attack, ACB has refused to participate in the triangular series played in Pakistan. This series was to be held between Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka from 17 to 29 November. Along with this, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan has also decided to withdraw from Pakistan Super League.
