Fans of Nitesh Tiwari’s mythological film ‘Ramayana’ are eagerly waiting. In this film with mega star cast, one actors are being entered one after the other. Now actor Chetan Hansraj has confirmed that he has got a special role in Ranbir Kapoor starrer film. He will be seen in the role of Ravana’s maternal grandfather Sumali in ‘Ramayana’. Chetan has also shared his shooting experience from the film.
In a recent interview with Minutes of Masala, Chetan Hansraj said- ‘I have just completed the Ramayana, which is of Ranbir and Yash. This is one of the best works of my life. What was the shooting, it was unbeligious. The scale on which it is being built and the entire Hollywood team we have worked with – Hollywood veterans. In a single picture, I worked with all the veterans, it was very good.

Chetan Hansraj further said about ‘Ramayana’- ‘I am playing the role of Ravana’s maternal grandfather in the film. This is a very important role. It starts with Ravana. This is one of the best shoots ever in my life. I cannot say more than this, but this is my best shooting ever. It has been started now, when everyone will come forward and see the shots, then you will understand on which scale it is being done. I have never seen this before. People from Hollywood were also saying the same, boss, this is something else.
Star cast and release date of ‘Ramayana’
‘Ramayana’ is being made in two parts in which actors like Ranbir Kapoor (Lord Ram), Sai Pallavi (Mata Sita) and Yash (Ravana) will be seen in lead roles. Apart from this, stars like Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Lara Dutta and Rakulpreet Singh are part of ‘Ramayana’. ‘Ramayana Part 1’ will be released on Diwali 2025, while the second part will come on screen in Diwali 2027.
