Romario Shepherd has become the second bowler to take a hat-trick for West Indies in T20 International cricket. Before him, Jason Holder had taken a hat-trick against England in 2021. Holder took four wickets in four balls in that match. In this match, Holder took 5 wickets for 27 runs in 2.5 overs. This achievement of Shepherd has given him a special place in the history of West Indies cricket.

Royal Challengers Bangalore had bought Romario Shepherd for the base price of Rs 1.5 crore for the 2025 IPL season.
