Uttar Pradesh fast bowler Yash Dayal, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has received a big shock from the Rajasthan High Court. The Rajasthan High Court has refused to stop the arrest of RCB fast bowler Yash Dayal in the alleged rape of a minor girl.

The Rajasthan High Court said in its judgment that since the victim is a minor, the accused cricketer cannot be given any interim relief from arrest. While hearing the case in Jaipur, Justice Sudesh Bansal summoned the case diary and fixed the next hearing date 22 August.

Yash Dayal’s lawyer told the conspiracy

During the hearing in the High Court, cricketer Yash Dayal’s lawyer Kunal Jamon argued that the matter was part of a major conspiracy to discredit the cricketer. He claimed that a similar rape case was registered in Ghaziabad, which was stayed by the Allahabad High Court.

Yash Dayal’s lawyer alleged, “Another FIR was lodged in Jaipur exactly seven days after that incident. It seems that a blackmail gang is active by registering such cases.” However, Sanganer police station in -charge Anil Ziman shared the details of the Jaipur case and said that the complainant, who was a minor at the time of the incident, came in contact with Yash Dayal during a cricket program.

Know what is the police statement in the case

After this, he accused Yash Dayal of sexual abuse about two years ago on the pretext of helping to make a career in cricket. According to the police, Yash Dayal allegedly called the young woman in her room in a hotel in Sitapura, Jaipur, during the IPL 2025 season and raped her again. Since the victim was 17 years old at the time of the first incident, an FIR has been registered under the ‘Poxo’ Act along with the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) in this case.
