IPL 2026 Big Blow For RCB: The first match of IPL 2026 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday, March 28. The match will be held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. But before this match, Bengaluru got a big blow in the form of Josh Hazlewood. Bengaluru head coach Andy Flower talked about Australian fast bowler Hazlewood in the pre-match press conference.
What did Andy Flower say about Hazlewood?
Andy Flower told that Hazlewood is not ready for tomorrow’s match. We are monitoring his fitness closely. With this, we are excitedly looking forward to his first match in IPL.
Let us tell you that without Hazlewood, the bowling attack of the team may look very weak. Hazlewood is one of the main fast bowlers of the team. He had made an important contribution in helping the team win the title last season.
The Australian bowler bowled brilliantly last season and took 22 wickets in 12 innings of 12 matches at an average of 17.54, in which his best was 4/33. The economy of RCB Pacer was 8.77. He stood third among the bowlers who took the most wickets in the season.
Like to watch Kohli’s practice
Coach Andy Flower told that like Sachin Tendulkar, he likes watching Virat Kohli’s practice. He said, “When I used to play, I used to watch Sachin Tendulkar practice. Now it is exactly the same with Virat Kohli. I love watching the masters of my art work.”
The coach further said, “Virat looks at the top of his game. He looks very fit, very thin and very hungry. Seeing him hitting and hitting the ball at the right time during training, I feel he is at his peak.”
