11 people died in a tragic accident caused by a stampede during the celebration of the Indian Premier League (IPL) victory in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka. Also 33 other people have been injured. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have mourned the incident, which was organized in honor of the victory.

Officials have confirmed that the bodies of two people are in Boring Hospital and four others in Vaidehi Hospital. Six people are undergoing treatment at the ICU of Vaidehi Hospital, out of which three have been admitted to the ICU.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivkumar visited the Borning Hospital. The Chief Minister has confirmed the killing of 11 people and injuries to 33 people in a press conference. He has announced the help of Rs 10 lakh to the dependents of the dead and free treatment of the injured by the government.
