RCB Victory Parade Stampede: On Wednesday, a large number of cricket lovers gathered near the Chinnaswamy Stadium to participate in the celebration of the victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). If more than 10 people died in this accident, the condition of many people is critical. Expressing grief, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the stampede broke out near the stadium due to the crowd, due to which the accident occurred.
10-10 lakh compensation to the families of the dead
The Karnataka government has announced compensation to the families of the deceased. CM Siddaramaiah said, “The government has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the dead. The government will provide free treatment to the injured. I do not want to defend this incident. Our government will not do politics on it. I have ordered a magistrate or asked to report in 15 days.”
‘The pain of this tragedy ends the joy of victory’
CM Siddaramaiah posted on X and said, “We were very sad to hear that many people lost their lives in the stampede and many people were seriously injured in the stampede during the victory of the RCB team at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The pain of this tragedy has also ended the joy of victory.
‘Life is more important than love and affection’
He said, “The team was not allowed to march in the victory parade due to such a stampede and uncontrollable incident due to the uncontrollable incident. My condolences are with the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones. I appeal to the public to understand that they should understand that they have more important life than love and affection and give the first priority to security.”
BJP targeted Siddaramaiah
The BJP and JDS targeted the Congress government of the state responsible for this matter. Karnataka BJP posted on X and said, “7 people died. Many people are struggling for life after the stampede due to the irresponsibility of the Congress government. There was no solution to control the crowd. There was no basic system … Just anarchy. When the innocent people were dying, Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar were dying to shoot the reel with Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar cricketers. The hands of the hands are filled with blood. “
‘Congress government should take full responsibility of this stampede’
JDS leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy also targeted the Siddaramaiah government. He said, “There was a stampede outside the Chinnaswamy due to lack of preparation and not taking precautionary measures. The Congress government should take full responsibility of this stampede. Immediate assistance should be provided to the families of the dead and better treatment of the injured.”
