By the time Ayush Mhatre and Ravindra Jadeja stayed at the crease, CSK’s victory looked easy. Jadeja took command after Mhatre was dismissed for the score of 94. He stayed at the crease till the end and an unbeaten innings of 77 runs in 45 balls could not work in Chennai. MS Dhoni proved to be a flop once again, who was dismissed by scoring 12 runs before finishing the match.

CSK had to score 15 runs to win in the last over. A run came on the first two balls, but then on the third ball, Yash Dayal dismissed Dhoni LBW. The fourth ball was called a no-ball, on which Shivam Dubey put a six and put the match in CSK’s court, but the last 2 balls were about to turn the match. On the last 2 balls, Yash Dayal gave just 2 runs, which gave RCB an exciting win with 2 runs.
