Rail India Technical and Economic Services (RITES) has issued a major recruitment notification for 252 posts of apprenticeship. In this recruitment, all engineering graduates, diploma holders and ITI pass candidates have been given the opportunity to apply. The special thing is that the entire process will take place without any written examination and interview. That means you will be selected only on the basis of your qualification and marks given in the mark sheet.
The process of online application has started and interested candidates can apply till 5 December 2025. This recruitment of RITES gives an excellent opportunity to the youth to learn work in a government institution and strengthen their career.
Which posts will be recruited?
A total of 252 posts are included in this recruitment. Of these, maximum posts have been kept for graduate apprentice. Both engineering and non-engineering candidates can apply for Graduate Apprentice. After this, the posts of Diploma Apprentice and Trade Apprentice for ITI pass candidates are included.
There are 146 posts of Graduate Apprentice. BE, B.Tech and B.Arch pass candidates can apply for these posts. Apart from this, non-engineering graduates like BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc and BCA are also eligible. A total of 49 posts have been included for Diploma Apprentice. To apply for these, the candidate must have a three-year full-time engineering diploma. Only those candidates who have passed ITI from a recognized institute will be able to apply for 57 posts of Trade Apprentice.
What are the eligibility and requirements?
For graduate apprentice, a four-year engineering degree is required. Non-engineering candidates can also apply with their three-year undergraduate degree. For diploma posts, candidates should have three years diploma in engineering field. Whereas for Trade Apprentice it is necessary to pass ITI. The condition of minimum marks has also been fixed in this recruitment. At least 60 percent marks are required for General and EWS category candidates, while SC, ST, OBC (NCL) and PwBD candidates will require 50 percent marks.
How will the selection be done?
RITES has kept this recruitment very simple. Candidates will be selected entirely from the merit list prepared on the basis of qualifying marks. In this process, no candidate will be required to appear in any examination or interview.
How much stipend will I get?
The amount received during apprenticeship also makes this recruitment more attractive for the youth. The selected graduate apprentice will get approximately Rs 14,000 per month. Diploma apprentice will be given around Rs 12,000 monthly. Whereas ITI pass trade apprentice will get stipend up to Rs 10,000.
