Goa Staff Selection Commission issued notification
There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs. Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) has announced a big recruitment for the year 2026. Under this recruitment, a total of 722 vacant posts including police constable, forest guard and other posts will be filled. The Commission has issued its official notification and the application process has also been decided.
The online application process for GSSC Recruitment 2026 will start from 20 February 2026. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply till 13 March 2026. Applications will be accepted through online mode only. Candidates will have to fill the form by visiting the official website of Goa Staff Selection Commission, gssc.goa.gov.in.
Which posts will be recruited
Under this recruitment drive, posts will be filled in different departments. Among these, the maximum number of posts are of police constable. Apart from this, posts related to forest department and other services have also been included. A total of 722 posts will be recruited, which will give a big opportunity to the youth to join government service.

This recruitment includes 13 posts of Range Forest Officer, 4 posts of Platoon Commander and 23 posts of Round Forester. There are 302 posts of police constable (male) and 58 posts of police constable (female). Apart from this, 119 posts of Armed Police Constable and 111 posts of Police Constable Driver are also included. 9 posts of Forest Guard, Warden and Matron posts are also part of this recruitment. The total number of posts including all is 722.
What will be the qualification and eligibility?
Different qualifications have been fixed for each post. For some posts, it is necessary to have 10th pass, while for some posts, 12th or above qualification is required.
